When Momentus came to Railyard, they were known as International Financial Consulting Ltd. (IFCL). Women-owned and led, they represented a global initiative working with governments and development finance institutions around the world to help fund the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Having worked across 77 countries, they were globally-recognized as the expert in institutional and private sector development, but their name and branding didn’t capture the ambitious—and necessary—work they are doing in the world.
After 20 years of operation and achieving widespread recognition for their expertise in development finance and sustainable goals, they approached us to embark on a new chapter, seeking to redefine their brand, story, and name to better reflect its evolved identity and future ambitions. And with that, Momentus was born.
WHAT
The 2022 Railyard team had the exciting opportunity to work with Momentus' expert team to craft a refreshed strategy, a new name, brand identity and verbal identity.

We worked closely with Momentus' founder and leadership team to distill, articulate and showcase the organization's wide breadth of expertise and experience while capturing the bold spirit of their mission and team.

Now bolder than ever to match their strong global presence, Momentus is poised to continue supporting development catalysts on the path to global sustainability, bringing momentum to some of the world’s most important work.
